A comprehensive Japanese language textbook for elementary and intermediate levels following the basic Japanese textbook “NEJ”. For learners of Japanese Language Proficiency Test N4 level. We aim to reach the Japanese Language Proficiency Test N3 level with a theme-driven, self-expression-centered curriculum.
Each unit consists of a “conversation part” and a “lecture part”. In the “conversation part”, topics related to individuals such as “childhood memories” and “family history” are handled. You can learn how to speak like an intermediate level and acquire conversational skills by using the conversation between Mr. Li and Mr. Nakata as a model. The “Lecture Part” covers topics related to contemporary society, such as “Companies and Individuals” and “Foreigners Living in Japan.” Through a series of 12 lectures by Professor Nishiyama, you will learn how to speak and write one step further, while promoting an understanding of intellectual writing and Japanese society. In each part of the course, you will learn the content and language of the topic, and then express themselves and their thoughts on the topic.
Through rich self-expressive activities such as discussing with other learners and writing essays on carefully selected CEFR-compliant topics, you will move to the intermediate level of Japanese in a fun and easy way. Includes a separate book “Kanji and Words” to learn kanji and kanji words corresponding to the unit. Audio can be downloaded from the web.
