Activities and Services

Osaka University strives to be a globally open university with the motto “Live Locally, Grow Globally”. As part of this initiative, we set up four overseas centers to realize student exchange, promote international collaborative research, build a communication network, survey local education/research trends so that staff at Osaka University can obtain necessary information about conducting international activities.

Support for International Students：The Overseas Centers promote Osaka University’s exchange programs by hosting an exhibition booth at the Study in Japan fairs sponsored by the Japan Student Services Organization and overseas diplomatic missions to recruit excellent students. In addition, the staff of the Centers visit high schools and universities for briefing sessions to encourage students to study at Osaka University.
