Activities and Services

The International University of Humanities and Development is a new university that was opened by presidential decree in May 2014 that aims to nurture global human resources by offering a completely English-taught syllabus. Accompanying the addition of Japanese as the second foreign language available under the International University of Humanities and Development’s International Relations major, TUFS opened a Global Japan Office, and at the same time dispatched Japanese language teachers to the university.

This office helps with the promotion of Japanese education and culture throughout Turkmen universities, and to provide training support for Turkmen Japanese teachers. We also open extra-curricular Japanese classes, and introduce Japanese culture through a Japanese culture club.
