This is the Global Japan Office established by Tokyo University of Foreign Studies as a base for Japanese language and Japanese education at major overseas partner schools.

The University of Melbourne is a prestigious university with over 160 years of history, making it the oldest university in the state of Victoria. Ranking 33rd in the “Times Higher Education-2015-16” university world ranking, the University of Melbourne ranks highly around the world and since signing a partner university agreement with TUFS in 2012 has continued to facilitate student exchanges between the two universities.
TUFS established a Global Japan Office within the University of Melbourne, and held an opening ceremony in 2018. Through this office, TUFS offers learning support for Japanese exchange students, and information on student exchanges for local students interested in studying in Japan.
