[The Japan Foundation] Activate Your Japanese! Content Library

“Activate your Japanese!” is a video-based program produced by the Japan Foundation in collaboration with NHK Educational Corporation. In the “Content-Library”, you can select and view the videos by each segment and download various digital materials that will boost your Japanese-language learning and teaching skills.

The website is also full of features that come in handy when viewing/showing “Activate Your Japanese!” in your classroom.

The main segment of the program presents communication strategies for making the fullest use of one’s Japanese and other skills to achieve communicative goals in life or at work. You can learn Japanese from real-life situations of what you would say and how to respond.

Multilingual subtitles and other useful functions

You can watch the videos with subtitles in four languages. You can also adjust the speed of the videos. The scripts and other materials of the videos can be downloaded.

“ONOMATOPOEIA -Share Feelings-”, short and fun videos that introduce useful onomatopoeia in daily conversation, are also available.
