Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies is known as an outstanding research institution in Central Asia. Especially in the field of Japanese language education, it is one of the largest bases in Uzbekistan and Central Asia.
Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies and TUFS concluded an academic exchange agreement in August 1997, and have since enjoyed a long history of exchange. Mutual exchange and education on both sides is expected to further develop through this GJO agreement.
