- Is it possible to have students pick up and return loaned equipment?

Students may pick up and return the materials if instructed to do so by the instructor of the class. However, please note the following
- If you are substituting a student,Please consult with our office in advance whenever possible.
- The name on the loan is solely that of the faculty member.The student shall be responsible for receiving and returning the items on behalf of the student.
- I understand that there may be times when only students use the equipment for presentation activities, etc,The loan will be treated as a loan to the faculty member, including handling in the event of loss or damage.Please understand this point, equipment handling, manners, etc,Please provide appropriate guidance to students in advance.
- Faculty members can return their work until 6:00 p.m. on the same day, though,Please instruct students to return the materials immediately after class.
- Organize cables, turn off equipment, and store in cases,Please return the equipment in the same condition as when it was checked out.We have seen cases where a different student from the one who borrowed the room returns it, and the room is not returned to its original condition.Receiving and returning should be handled by the same student as much as possible.Please take care to ensure that the or handover is thorough.
What to do when a student comes to the office on behalf of a student
Please instruct the student in advance so that he/she can give the following information at the counter
- Teacher's Name
- Classrooms used
- usage time slot
- Estimated return time
Based on the information in STEP 1, the faculty member will confirm the availability of prior consultation.
As a general rule, we will verify the identity of the student unless the following applies
- When a faculty member has contacted you in advance with the information (name, etc.) of the student who is scheduled to visit the room and it matches his/her declaration.
- When there is a clear request from the faculty member that identification is not required (e.g., the faculty member is responsible for having a different student in charge of receiving the money each time).
- When it can be clearly determined that the same student is being served by the same staff member each time and that there is no need to confirm the student's identity.
Identity Confirmation Details
- We will ask you to present your student ID card and take down your name, student ID number, and contact information (phone or e-mail).
- Confirm that the receipt is a substitute receipt under the direction of a faculty member.
