We assisted in setting up for the 104th Southeast Asian Studies Association Research Conference to be held simultaneously in person and online (HyFlex format). A hybrid discussion session was held as part of the program, and out of a total of six speakers, five participated in-person and one participated online from overseas.
Use of "preset positions" for ceiling cameras
- The ceiling camera in Prometheus Hall has a "preset position" function, which allows the camera to memorize patterns of camera pointing positions and zoom magnifications in advance.
- In setting up for this debate, the positions of the moderator and the five debaters were memorized in advance by the camera, allowing for quick camera work and a realistic online delivery that resembled a live TV broadcast.
